The best Halloween events in Toronto
Behind Christmas and Thanksgiving, Halloween is one of the most popular holidays, with large crowds turning out for haunted houses and bar crawls, while entire neighbourhoods light up as they offer candy to young trick-or-treaters. While most people probably think of Halloween as a kid’s holiday, one needs only to know where to look to find holiday activities that cater to adults. For you, here are four of the best Halloween events in Toronto!
Toronto Screams From Hell Halloween Pub/Club Crawl 2019 Party Event
This pub crawl will you through the haunted streets of downtown Toronto, stopping at four (4) of Toronto’s hottest night clubs along the way. Starting off at Dublin’ Calling Party Bar, located at 250 Adelaide St. West, at 8 PM you’ll enjoy drinks and the hottest costume contest before departure at 9 PM sharp! From there you’ll head to Cube Nightclub, where you can enjoy drinks while listening to various guest DJs who will play genres from Reggae to Hip-Hop.
The third stop will be the Underground at 365 King St. West at 10 PM before finally, the trip will finish at the Fifth Events, located at 225 Richmond St. West! There the party will continue until 3 AM. The Fifth will feature the Cabin from Hell event, multiple DJs, and a full access bar. Various costume contests will be held at the final location.
This event requires wristbands to attend, which will be handed out at the first location. If you are unable to make the first location, you can receive them at the second location. If due to some reason, you are unable to get your wristband at the first two locations you will need to contact an event coordinator to get yours. So, make sure to get there early!

Regulars Halloween at Regulars Bar
If you are looking for smaller Halloween events in Toronto, look no further than Regulars Bar! This Halloween themed night will feature music from DJ Tilt, as well as have a five dollar ($5) all-day draft and cans event. Halloween costumes are encouraged for this event, though not required. Come joins the crowd at this low-key, low energy location and spend the night surrounded by friends, new and old. You may even encounter a few Regulars. If the costume and party aspect aren’t really your style Regulars offers a full bar all night, as well as having a full kitchen until 10 PM. Once the kitchen is closed, bar snacks will be available until 2 AM.

Asylum at REBEL
One of the largest Halloween events will be happening at REBEL on Halloween night. Asylum returns to the streets of Toronto, bringing the chills and thrills to the dance floor, spread out of four different rooms and will multiple DJs available to play a variety of music, meaning that no one will have their tastes looked over. So make your way down to REBEL this Halloween and show off your killer dance moves that are sure to get your heart pumping.
Costumes are encouraged and celebrated, letting you bring out your creative side! Don’t be afraid to go all out for your costumes, just keep in mind that with so many people packed into one area it’s bound to get hot.

Legends of Horror at Casa Loma
Come join Casa Loma this Halloween as the castle is transformed once again into a spooktacular event that will leave you breathless. Starting in late September the halls will be transformed and filled with ghosts and ghouls and all manner of creeps as Legends of Horror returns for another year. Guests will trek through a 2 km trail at their own pace, starting in the gardens before making their way through the castle, opening up new areas of the castle that so rarely see the light of day.
Using “promenade theater” the actors will guide guests through each scene, portraying a story that will captivate and scare you. Rather than design a new set each time the story will be told using the existing room, allowing for each character to have a minute difference with each new story that guests encounter.
Tickets can be purchased here; this package is not included with the normal Casa Loma admission.
